I'm walking All Night Long! But I need your help

I signed up for this last year, raised just over $525:00. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I couldn't put a full effort into the training, did nothing for the final 3 months, but I did go out on the night and made it to 18.5km.
Something I will never forget and treasure the memories.
This year, with a full 9 months ahead of me, and the experience of 2025 behind me, I hope to complete the full 42km, which is a mammoth challenge to finish, trust me.
But it is nothing compared to the challenge that the kids face every day in their battles against whatever they may be fighting. Sadly, not all of them make it home.
So, I am asking, if you can, to support the kids of Ronald McDonald House and the Children's Hospital by making a small donation towards my initial goal of $500:00 (Hoping to make much more then that).
Last year, 1666 walkers raised just over $1,275,000:00 and will no doubt make many kids, and their families feel just a little bit better, even if only for a short time.
It doesn't have to be much, and remember, a lot of $5:00 donations add up to a generous amount and anything over $2:00 is fully tax deductable.
My plan is to donate $12:50 per week myself, so $500:00 in total by event night.
Anything you can spare, will not only help the kids who need it......but very much inspire me to get off my arse and tick this off my bucket list.
Also, all donations go direct to the charity, not thru me.
And please share this post with your friends and encourage them to help if they can.
