All Night Long
Privacy Statement

Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland and the Children’s Hospital Foundation (“we”, “us” or “our”) are the organisers of “All Night Long”, an overnight walking challenge (“the Event”).

We collect personal information from and about you to manage the Event, process donations, award and deliver prizes, communicate with you about our work, provide you with updates, issue receipts, and for other purposes set out in our respective Privacy Policies. Some of this information is collected for purposes related to applicable laws including the Collections Act 1966 (Qld) and Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Qld).

If you do not provide the personal information requested, we may be unable to do these things, for example: enable your participation in the Event, process your donation, issue your receipt or award and deliver prizes to you.

We may collect personal information from, and disclose it to, each other and other parties including health providers (e.g. if you are involved in a medical incident), emergency contacts, our service providers (e.g. event management, publicity, social media and IT providers), prize suppliers, professional advisors (e.g. legal), government authorities and other organisers that may assist with the Event in future.

A key purpose of the Event is to raise awareness of our organisations and the work we do (including support for ill children and their families). In publicising and managing the Event, we may publish information about:

  • donors, including names, locations and donation amounts (unless the donor requests to be anonymous);
  • event participants, including names, placings/times, images and recordings; and
  • prize winners, including names, locations, images and recordings.

Our respective Privacy Policies contain details about:

  • how we collect, use, disclose and store personal information, including where likely recipients are located;
  • information we collect online (including through use of ‘cookies’); and
  • how you can access and correct your personal information or make a complaint.
