Imagine having to leave your newborn babies each night, knowing they’re fighting for life in the ICU—while you travel back and forth across a city, far from the hospital, far from comfort, far from rest.

That was my reality when my twin baby girls were born prematurely.

The exhaustion, the fear, the longing for something as simple—and as vital—as a place nearby to rest my head and stay close to them.

Thankfully, Ronald McDonald House exists to provide exactly that: a home-away-from-home for families with ill or injured children. They step in during the most heartbreaking moments and offer something truly priceless—closeness, comfort, and care.

This year, our Fragomen team is walking 42 kilometers—an all-night marathon—to raise funds so more families can stay near their loved ones in times of medical crisis.
