I'm walking All Night Long to raise funds for Queensland’s sickest kids and their families

I’m walking All Night Long on 25 October 2025, a marathon through Brisbane, to raise funds for Queensland’s sickest kids and their families.



This is very dear to me, as almost 11 years ago we were one of those families, when our twins, Maija and Mats were born at just under 24 and 25 weeks into my pregnancy. Mats sadly didn’t survive, and Maija spent the first 6 months of her life in hospital until she was well and strong enough to come home. It was a very difficult and challenging time, and without the care, knowledge and the support Maija and we as a family received from the amazing doctors, nurses, therapists, etc Maija wouldn’t be here and things would’ve been even tougher for us. 

The money raised will help fund vital programs, services, and resources. Whether it’s covering a night of accommodation, providing meals, or offering emotional support to families during tough times, every dollar we raise truly counts.
