I'm walking All Night Long - but why?

When most people think about an overnight walk, they think about the challenge of staying awake, sore feet, and counting down the hours until sunrise.

For me, this walk represents something much bigger.
As a parent, I know how exhausting it is to sit beside your child when they're sick. You don't watch the clock, you don't think about sleep—you simply do whatever your child needs. Every parent would.

Working in the Children's Emergency Department has given me an even deeper appreciation of that reality. Every shift, I meet families who are facing some of the hardest moments of their lives. I see parents comforting frightened children, holding tiny hands, trying to stay strong while running on little or no sleep. Those overnight hours can feel endless, yet they keep showing up with incredible strength and love.

My one night of walking doesn't compare to what these families go through. But it's my way of standing in solidarity with them and acknowledging the resilience they show every single day.
Every step I take is for the parents who don't leave their child's bedside. For the children fighting through illness. For the healthcare workers caring for them through the night. And for the hope that, together, we can make those difficult journeys just a little bit easier.

If you'd like to support me, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide care, support, and hope to children and their families when they need it most.

Thank you for helping me turn one sleepless night into something meaningful. ❤️
