Walking Through the Night for Sick Kids, Inspired by Zoey

This October, I'll be taking on the 21km walk as part of All Night Long, and I'm dedicating it to my daughter, Zoey.

Since she was born, Zoey has undergone eight operations. What started with treatment for her cleft palate has evolved into ongoing challenges with her hearing, including bilateral cholesteatoma, eardrum retraction, countless ENT appointments, and further surgeries still to come.

As parents, we've experienced first-hand the incredible support that children's health services provide to families facing these challenges. While Zoey continues to tackle each hurdle with resilience and courage, we know many other families are facing difficult journeys of their own.

That's why I'll be walking 21km through the night to help raise funds for sick kids and their families across Queensland. The money raised supports the amazing work of the Children's Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland, helping families access the care, accommodation, and support they need during some of the toughest times in their lives.

I'll be tired, sore, and probably questioning my decision somewhere in the middle of the night, but it's a small challenge compared to what many children and their families go through every day.

If you're able to contribute, no matter the amount, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every dollar makes a difference.

Thank you for your support. 💛
