I'm walking All Night Long! But I need your help

I'm joining a celebration of courage to raise funds for sick kids and their families. I really need your support!

Each day can feel like a marathon for sick kids and their families. Which is why I'm walking 42kms All Night Long this October.

This is where you can help. Will you please donate what you can? Every dollar you give will support sick kids across Queensland through the incredible work of the Children’s Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland, while giving me the inspiration and energy I need to keep going all night long.

Yep, this is going to be a challenge, and I'm going to be exhausted and tired at the end. But I know with your help, it will be so worth it, and it's a fraction of what families with sick kids go through. Please donate ❤️

Our personal experience

Tuesday 23rd Jun
I’m honesty so nervous about this, but it helps to remember the why. I remember so vividly being in that hospital room, being told part of Aria’s diagnosis, and being told that already there was a room for us at the Ronald McDonald House. I would stay with Aria in the hospital but by having that room Ryan could be just across the road for support.
In the beginning I always had to stay at  hospital with Aria. I found the duel share rooms very challenging. Eventually we were allowed a bit of freedom. We could stay at the Ronald McDonald House after each chemo day rather than in the hospital. That made SUCH a difference for sleep and mental health. We also often had scans that we had to attend, sometimes starting as early as 7am. But once again, we could stay at Ronnie’s the night before so we could easily pop over to the hospital without the morning rush.
These are just a few ways that the Ronald McDonald House can assist families and I want to help in any way that I can to support more families through these challenges.
