I'm walking All Night Long! But I need your help
I’ve been known to do a few spontaneous things, and walking 42 km through the middle of the night just seemed like a good idea at the time… so that’s exactly what I’m doing this October!
Emma and I have always been big supporters of Ronald McDonald House. The work they do for families with sick children is incredible, so when I saw an opportunity to support them and the Children’s Hospital Foundation, it was something I couldn’t say no to.
At my age, I’m not sure walking 42 km overnight was my smartest idea—but it’s only a fraction of the challenge faced every day by sick kids and their families.
I’d really appreciate your support. If you can donate, even a small amount, every dollar counts and will help sick kids and their families across Queensland. 💛
If donating isn’t enough of a challenge, you can also join my team, “It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time,” and come walk it with me!
I’ll be livestreaming the entire walk, so if you can’t make it on the night, jump online, have a chat and help keep me awake while I attempt to get through all 42 km.
My Impact
So far this year I have helped provide...
4
bags of Bravery Beads to recognise the courage of a sick child.
1
family supported with urgent clothing, food, and toiletries.
0
night of comfort for a family at Ronald McDonald House.
