This year I'm walking All Night Long in honour of beautiful Maggie and in support of families who are facing every parent's worst nightmare.

I've had the privilege of walking alongside Maggie's family through parts of their journey and seeing firsthand the strength, love and resilience it took to navigate years of hospital admissions, treatments and unimaginable challenges.

During Maggie's illness, Ronald McDonald House provided a place for her family to stay together when they needed it most. A home away from home during some of the hardest days of their lives.

Sadly, Maggie lost her fight, but her memory continues to make a difference.

Every day, families are still walking this path. They're sitting beside hospital beds, facing uncertainty, and doing everything they can for the children they love.

That's why I'm walking.
