I'm walking All Night Long! But I need your help
💛 We’re walking 42km All Night Long this October to support sick kids and their families — and this one means a little more to us.
In June, our beautiful Macie was diagnosed with Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition that causes her platelet levels to drop severely low. Since then, our family has experienced 7 emergency trips following head knocks and bleeding, multiple hospital stays, and more moments of worry than we ever imagined we would face.
It’s been a challenging few months, but throughout it all, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have been cared for by some truly amazing health professionals. The compassion, expertise and support they’ve shown Macie — and our family — has meant so much to us.
Our hearts go out to the families navigating even more challenging and complex health journeys. Now, this is our chance to give something back. ❤️
We’re joining this incredible celebration of courage and walking 42km through the night to raise funds for sick kids and their families across Queensland.
We know it’s going to be tough. We’ll be exhausted, sore and probably wondering why we signed up! 😅 But every step will be worth it knowing we’re helping families who are navigating some of the hardest days of their lives.
If you’re able to donate, every dollar makes a difference and will help support sick kids and their families when they need it most.
Thank you for supporting us, cheering us on and helping us turn our own experience into something positive for others. 💛
